God sent His Son Jesus to take our place on the cross. He
made time for what was (and still is) the most important to Him – Us!
What are you making time for? Is it work, things, money?
Or are you making time for the people God has placed in your life?
Some of the most important men
in my life have shown me where they place their importance by their words and
actions. It made me realize what little importance the people in their lives have
and it saddens me. In the end, what really
matters?
Do you have time to take five or ten minutes out of your
day to call someone just to say, “I’m thinking about you and I love you?” Or do
you tell them, “I’ll call you…if I
have the time?” I know there are always unforeseen circumstances, but for the
most part, we can all take a look at what we are doing in a day and what we are
placing our importance on. Those closest to you will know the truth by your
words and actions.
We can also put this into perspective when we think about
our relationship with God. Do you make time for Him or do you tell Him, “I’ll
call You…if I have the time?”
