A healthy alternative to cookie dough ice cream...

- 4 frozen bananas
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup water to help blend ingredients
- 5 chopped dates (or about 10 small Khadrawi dates)
- 1 tsp Organic vanilla powder (or can use vanilla extract)
- *Raw carob powder (optional)
- *Ground cinnamon (optional)

Add 12 small Khadrawai dates (about 6 large Medjools) chopped on top (these are the cookie dough chunks), stir and eat!
A few of my suggestions: It is sweet, so I would recommend only using 1/3 to 1/2 of the recommended dates, or no dates. Also, make sure the bananas are frozen, otherwise it will end up tasting more like a pureed banana dish, not ice cream. I freeze my bananas with the peels on and then cut them off before blending. Some people choose to freeze them with the peels off.
